The weather becomes cold slowly, enter winter immediately, so winter how to maintain air filter?
1. Turn off engine and turn over cab. First, loosen the 4 spring clips on the end cover sealed by the air filter, remove the end cover, dump the dust inside the end cover and wipe it clean. Then take out the main filter element, clean the inner dust of the air filter shell with a brush or vacuum cleaner and clean the rubber pads at both ends.
2. After cleaning the main filter element for 3 times, the main filter element and safety filter element must be replaced at the same time. If dust accumulation is found on the safety filter element, a new safety filter element should be replaced immediately. The operation method is to remove the safety filter element by rotating counterclockwise.
3. Before installing the main filter element, carefully check whether the filter paper is damaged and whether the end sealant is cracked. In case of the above phenomenon, a new filter element should be replaced. After the check is correct, install the filter element into the shell in turn, cover the sealing end cover and press the spring buckle. Finally, check whether the inlet pipe seal is in good condition and whether the hose clamp is loose. Whether the pipe wall is worn, to prevent air short circuit into the engine. If the dust bag falls off or is damaged, the dust bag should be replaced in time.
4. Blowing air filter element with high-pressure compressed air will destroy the filter paper of empty filter, make the mesh of filter bigger, and make the filter element lose the filtering effect.
5. If the air filter element is blown with compressed air (such cleaning method is strongly not recommended), the air pressure must not be lower than 0.7kPa. And the diameter of the compressed air nozzle should not be too small. Blow and suck the compressed air with low pressure diffused type to avoid damaging the filter element by forming high pressure cluster airflow.
6. The air must be blown from the inner side to the outer side of the filter element. Blowing on the surface of the filter element is not allowed.
7. Do not run the engine with only safety filter elements.
