热塑性弹性体（Thermoplastic elastomer,简称TPE）一般是指在常温下显示橡胶弹性，高温下又能塑化成型，兼具塑料和橡胶特点的材料。目前已工业化的TPE种类包括：聚苯乙烯类（TPS）聚烯烃类（TPO）、聚氨酯类（TPV）、聚酯类（TPEE）、聚酰胺类（TPAE）和聚氨乙烯类（TPVC）。在以上各种TPE材料中，PVC热塑性弹性体（PVC-TPE）以其较优异的综合性能和低廉的价格而备受人们青睐。
